This past Saturday, March 12th, Pi Day came two days early at the 2016 Dayton Makers Fest sponsored by Make it Dayton!
Over 600 enthusiastic makers attended the second annual event and enjoyed a vast array of maker projects and presentations.
We were there exhibiting along with over twenty other groups and makers at the wonderful Wright Brothers Institute. There were plenty of interesting projects throughout the fest along with a lot of great people to meet.
Our table included three Raspberry Pi 3 computers set up demoing Scratch, Minecraft and a web browser, along with an Ultimaker 2 printing off samples of 3D creations! We also had a supply of Raspberry Pi 3 boards and kits for sale.
If you are a maker or interested in learning, be sure to attend the Dayton Mini Maker Faire on Saturday, July 16th at Carillon Historical Park!
