Astro Pi: Your Code in Space

Astro Pi Sense Hat

In December 2014 two Raspberry Pi computers were flown to the International Space Station (ISS) as part of a six month mission and were connected to the new "Astro Pi" board! Also included was the winning code from the Astro Pi competition sponsored by the UK Space Agency. This competition was open to Primary & Secondary students throughout the UK who submitted their code for the chance of it being used in the mission!

The Astro Pi board is loaded with a host of sensors and gadgets and now you can order your own Astro Pi Sense Hat!

Astro Pi Includes:

- Gyroscope
- Accelerometer
- Magnetometer
- Barometer: 260 – 1260 hPa absolute range
- Temperature sensor
- Relative Humidity sensor
- 8x8 RGB LED matrix display
- Small 5 Button Joystick
- Compatible with Raspberry Pi B+, A+, and Pi 2
