MCM Electronics returned for a second year to the annual Hamvention in Dayton on May 15-17! Hamvention
is sponsored by the Dayton Amateur Radio Association and this year their theme is makers as they wholeheartedly welcome the maker community to their convention. Hamvention features hundreds of vendors and is attended by over 20,000 electronics, makers and amateur radio enthusiasts from around the world.
We were at booths 307-311 and primarily featured Raspberry Pi 2
, Raspberry Pi Kits & Accessories
Walking around the six large vendor rooms plus the outdoor flea market was a unique experience in electronics, maker goods and amateur radio. Also with over 20,000 people in attendance you could find people of many varying interests in topics including quad copters, laser cutters, 3D printers, HAM radio, classic electronics and much more. While is was held in the MidWest there were many people from all around the country and the world including some of the vendors which included groups from UAE (United Arab Emirates) and the UK!
